Victorian Verandaz is on a sprawling estate that is 110 acres in spread. It has been with our family for over 150 years.
Grown here are coffee, pepper, cardamom and paddy. Parts of the property are water bodies and still uncultivated jungle areas.
This estate has 3 man-made lakes and 1 natural one. A number of perennial streams run through the terrain.
If you are lucky you may happen to see the smaller species of wild life: rabbits, or jungle fowl or maybe even a wild boar.
Being close to Madikeri, the location is a good central point from which to make sight-seeing expeditions.
Our Homestay is situated just 8 Kms from Madikeri City, the HQ of Coorg District. The Property is called Modur Estate and is located off Kadagadal Village on the Madikeri – Chettalli – Sidapur Road.
If coming from Bangalore via the Kushalnagar Road, as you enter the town limits you will see the first circle with a statue of Field Marshal K.M.Cariappa(Sudarshan Circle) visible on the right. Take an immediate U turn to the left and you are on the road to our estate.
